The place was incredibly dirty, far worse than I expected from the photos. I had to sleep on dirty sheets the first night, and some of my friends had the same problem. I saw clean sheets being folded on a dirty floor. There seems to be only one cleaner, who is often absent and doesn’t really clean. I asked again and again for the bathrooms to be cleaned, but they went days without it. One toilet smelled awful and nobody dealt with it. The ladies’ bathroom only had cold water. The beds had no curtains, so there was no privacy, and I felt there was no safety either. The place felt gross, with creepy guys around. I’ve stayed in budget places all over the world, and this was on another level. Don’t be fooled by Agoda points. I suspect some good reviews may come from paid reviewers or friends. Women should stay away.

The toilets wouldn’t flush, water was all over the floor, and the place smelled. The reception attendant was very rude, always had beetle nut in his mouth, and shouted at tourists when we complained. The service felt as cheap as the price, and the place was disgusting.

Solo women travelers, please don’t stay here. The owner/receptionist made me feel unsafe. When I asked the room price, he offered me a free massage from him and said the room came with him. He also called me pretty and stood way too close. For your safety, avoid this place.

It was so bad I felt homeless. The toilets were dirty, and the shower room was even worse, like being down in a sewer. The bed was really shaky too. The pictures must have been Photoshopped a hundred times. At least I booked just one day to try it first.

The receptionist was nice to me when I arrived, so I have nothing bad to say about him. The hostel itself was awful, though. It was filthy, there was no hot water, and the bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The bed linen had blood on it, the rooms smelled bad, and I saw a rat running around in the kitchen. I know it’s a hostel, but there are lots of other places nearby at the same price with much better facilities.
