Blutique Hotel

We got to check in early, and the staff helped us arrange a taxi for early morning at a normal price. I stayed two nights in a twin room, which was clean and comfortable, so I slept well. The location is handy, right in Pratunam and close to everything. The hotel staff member was friendly too, and asked me about the Indonesian protest, “Who win government or public?” LOL 😂

The location, close to the shopping areas, was the only thing I liked. We went to Pratunam for shopping in June 2025 and chose Blutique Hotel, expecting an upgrade from KC Place hotel, where we'd stayed in the same area in 2024. That was a huge mistake. KC Place was far better. The corridors and corners were piled with large bags of clothes or other items on the way to the rooms. It looked dirty and unprofessional from the moment we checked in, and I can't understand how staff consider that acceptable. The rooms were very small, though that was manageable since we were there to shop. We booked two rooms for ourselves and our parents. One had a window and the other had none, which could feel disturbing for some guests. Both rooms were disgusting and old, with badly damaged floor corners and broken tiles. The bathrooms were worse: damaged floors, a broken door that wouldn't close properly and left a large gap, plus dirty spots on the toilet flush basin. The hygiene was unacceptable. The hotel felt poorly maintained and untrustworthy, and I would never recommend it. The most serious problem was losing my sunglasses case, which held two pairs, during the stay. I only noticed after returning from Thailand because I don't use those sunglasses every day. One pair was valuable to me because it had my vision lenses fitted, which wouldn't be useful to someone else since the lenses were changed for my vision. Until then, we'd usually left our luggage open during hotel stays until departure. We now know that was a mistake. On the day in question, we went shopping with our luggage open. When we came back, both rooms had been super cleaned, even though we hadn't put out the “Make Up My Room” sign or requested service. The luggage was still open. I didn't notice the two pairs were gone then, since I didn't need them that day. Later, I found the case was missing. I searched thoroughly and am confident it was stolen while housekeeping was servicing the room. This was extremely disturbing, unacceptable, and truly unethical. Worst experience ever. Don't waste a minute wondering if this hotel is a good choice, it isn't. Don't stay here. Go to KC Palace, it is far more better than this in all the ways.

The location may suit anyone after cheap clothes, bags, shoes, or souvenirs, since the hotel opens straight onto the busy Pratunam district with its street vendors and bargain shopping. For comfort, safety, and genuine hospitality, though, Blutique Hotel left a lot to be desired. The building sits down a narrow alley that barely fits a standard vehicle, so taxis and ride-hailing cars probably won't drop you at the door. You may have to walk a short way from the main road. Rooms are very cramped, especially for couples with several bags, and there's nowhere to put luggage except on the bed. The shower floor is uneven, possibly to keep water in, but it feels like a serious safety risk. There were no windows in the rooms, which made them feel closed in. The bed called king-size was actually two smaller beds pushed together, leaving an uncomfortable ridge in the middle. Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable. The hallways are narrow too, and could make evacuation difficult in a fire or other emergency. For all these reasons, this doesn't feel like a true 3-star experience despite the advertised rating.

They cleaned the room every day, and the place is close to both Pratunam and public transport. A great spot.
