Centre Point Hotel Sukhumvit 10

The hotel’s little golf cart takes you to and from the main road. Turn right there and the night market is a 3-5 minute walk away. Terminal 21 is a nice little mall, about an 8-10 minute walk from the drop-off point, and you can catch the BTS there too. Benchakitti Park is around the corner to the left as you leave the hotel, about an eight-minute walk. I enjoyed going there for runs. At the hotel, check-in was quick and all the staff welcomed me. The room was spacious, the cleaning crew kept it immaculate, and the water pressure was great. The bathroom had one of those modern toilets. There are two swimming pools, a small gym with basic equipment, a children’s play area, pool table, foosball table, and a little shop on the ground floor. I enjoyed my stay at Centra Point hotel. Thanks to all the staff for making it a great one.

Being next to the park was a big bonus. We could use the free bikes or go for a morning run without first dealing with Bangkok’s busy streets. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was well stocked, and the shuttle bus to the station ran so often that we never waited more than five minutes. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day, too. We’ve stayed in Bangkok well into double figures, from luxury hotels to basic places, and finding Centre Point on this visit made us wonder why we’d ever pay a fortune elsewhere. We started in the Green Wing and had some problems on the first night. We thought, “Oh no, what have we done?” The staff were incredible and very accommodating, though, and moved us to the quiet 9th floor. After that, everything was perfect. Special thanks to Peter at the concierge, who tracked down our missing bags and was thoughtful, professional, and went above and beyond. There are washing machines around the hotel, at 90 baht per wash. Fantastic stay, great location and service. We’ll definitely be back.

I spent three weeks at Centre Point Hotel on Sukhumvit 10 over Christmas and New Year. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, and the pillows were excellent. The bathroom and shower had very strong water pressure, and there are four lifts, so I never had to wait long. Staff were attentive and polite, and always happy to help. The cleaners kept my room to a very high standard throughout. Breakfast had a good selection and solid food quality. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main road, but a shuttle runs every few minutes if you don’t want to walk. Free daytime coffee is a nice touch. There’s also a great park about five minutes away, well worth checking out. Checkout left a slight sour taste. I accidentally broke a small drinking glass while washing up, and the hotel tried to charge me for it. After spending over £2,000 on my stay, I thought that was extremely petty for an upmarket four-star hotel, and I categorically refused to pay. Making sure guests leave happy and want to return should matter more than the cost of a cheap glass. Apart from that, it was a very good experience and I’d recommend the hotel.

The breakfast is superb, with all kinds of food from around the world. The hotel has been updated recently, and the rooms are bright and tastefully decorated. It also has two pools and a decent gym for a hotel. I’ve stayed here a few times, and the location is ideal. It’s just a two-minute walk to one of Bangkok’s largest parks, and a short walk to both the BTS and MRT, but far enough back from the main road to be peaceful. The staff, from managers to housekeeping, are always friendly and professional. Alice, one of the managers, has helped me many times with bookings, translation, and local information. She’s fantastic.
