What stood out most was how kind and helpful the staff were. It felt like staying in a home, not a hotel. The house has lovely modern Thai decor, and the rooms are cozy and amazing. It's a beautiful, quiet oasis away from the busy streets, but still within walking distance of the main temple. A great choice if you're after a relaxing, authentic Chiang Mai stay.

Pang made our last morning special by leaving fruit in containers in the fridge for us to take along, since we were leaving too early for breakfast. She'd also worked out what my picky son liked and made his breakfast to suit him each day, usually watermelon and sticky rice. Pang's usual breakfast of fresh fruit, mango sticky rice, and great coffee was something we looked forward to every morning. We loved the location for its Thai culture. It's not really in a tourist area, but it's close to things and has good transport. Two nights running, we came across a ladies' exercise class around the corner. Everyone welcomed us and encouraged us to join, so we did. The Muay Thai stadium is a 10-minute walk away, and we really enjoyed a night watching Muay Thai. Pang was a wonderful host, and Jack was friendly too. The praise for their warmth is deserved. Pang shared lots of information on WhatsApp and was available whenever we had questions. On our first night we got a bit lost, but found Jackson, a delicious and very affordable restaurant about 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel. The owner, Jack, was fantastic. Taisoon Bar is a cool place around the corner from there. It's a lovely boutique hotel with very hospitable hosts, a little off the beaten path, which was a plus for the cultural experience. We'd stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Pang, for the wonderful memories!

We found plenty of good cafés, bars, and restaurants nearby, and it wasn't an overly touristy area. Getting to the center was easy by boat or taxi. The managers were friendly and helpful, and the fruit they served for breakfast was delicious. Set on a quiet side street, the old house has been beautifully restored and was immaculately clean. I'd strongly recommend the hotel.

The breakfast was unbelievable, and our hosts made us feel so welcome. My son and I stayed for the weekend, and the hotel was close to the Muay Thai Stadium we went to on Saturday night. I'd highly recommend this small, family-run place to anyone visiting.
