Chang Hostel Suvarnabhumi

I checked in, but after two hours I couldn’t sleep because some Indian guests were talking loudly for a long time. I offered to pay extra to move rooms, but they wouldn’t arrange a room change and told me I’d have to make a new booking and pay a 300 baht deposit. I checked out straight away and lost the fee for one night.

The staff were kind and knew their stuff, the toilet was very clean, and the air conditioner worked well. The room itself was tiny, with a hard bed, and the place felt very old and worn down. Still, for a reasonable price, it could be a good option near suwannabumi airport.

The restaurant downstairs serves traditional food that was excellent, and its staff were friendly and keen to help. The hostel also has helpful staff. It’s an affordable, simple place near the airport, suited to a night or two. The rooms aren’t fancy, but they’re clean, private, and air conditioned. There’s a 24/7 minimart below, plus a temple, 7-Eleven, and busy market just a short walk away. Vegans can ask the restaurant to accommodate them, or order through grab, which was fast and very affordable. If you’re on a budget, stuck at the airport, or want a quieter side of Bangkok away from influencers and tourists, I’d recommend staying here.

I stayed one night while waiting for my flight. The twin room was spacious and had everything I expected, though it wasn’t very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, and pointed out the inexpensive shop and eatery below.
