CHANN Bangkok-Noi

Kupree and Por were so kind and hospitable, and made our stay wonderful. The boutique hotel is charming, right on the river, and the new rooms are spotless and well equipped. They’re done in traditional Thai teak style, with balconies and air conditioning. The place even has a few little helpers, two cats, soy bean and egg yolk, and three turtles.

The room was lovely, right beside the river, with a great view and breeze. Service was impeccable, the staff had our backs in so many ways, and the food was great. Live music was a nice touch. At first the location seemed a bit out of the way, but there’s a very inexpensive boat service nearby. I’ll stay here whenever I return. Thank you!

I already miss this peaceful, homely boutique hotel by the river. The common area and room both have a charming feel, like stepping into another era and getting away from busy Bangkok. From bed, you can watch the canal and little boats go by. The staff, including Kupree, Par, and housekeeping, gave us outstanding service and hospitality.

The boat pier by Phra Pinklao Bridge makes places like Wat Arun an easy trip, and the main road with its bus routes is only a short walk away. Chann Bangkok Noi itself is a peaceful little escape on a canal just off the Chao Phraya river, with traditional Thai interiors that reminded me of Jim Thompson House. There’s no direct vehicle access, and you have to walk down an alley to reach it. Some people might not like that, but I enjoyed the walk through the Bangkok Noi neighborhood. A lovely boutique hotel if you want a quiet break in Bangkok.
