The shower barely had any water coming out, which added to an already awful stay. I left two suitcases at reception. When I returned, the big one, an expensive branded case with a combination lock, had damage to its lock, zipper, and slider, as if someone had tampered with it. My new jacket was gone from the small carry-on, and papers and other belongings inside had been packed carelessly and wrinkled. Reception staff said they knew nothing, despite cameras at the hotel. After that, I couldn’t trust the place with my belongings. The service was extremely poor, and the experience was very disappointing. If you stay here, don’t leave your things unattended or expect decent conditions.

I stayed in October 2024 and regretted it by night. There was no elevator, so I had to carry my luggage up four flights. The booking photos looked okay, but the room felt like a haunted house. The walls were stained, there were mysterious fluid marks on the sheets and pillows, and the bathroom water pressure was ridiculously weak. The room reeked of smoke. It took half an hour with the window open to clear it. Then I saw more than five small cockroaches in just 30 minutes. I kept killing them, but more showed up. I was scared they’d get into my luggage or shoes and couldn’t sleep. I wanted to leave right away, but it was already too late, so I forced myself to stay. In the middle of the night I booked another hotel, then checked out as soon as the sun came up. They wouldn’t refund me, even though the room was that bad. Absolutely terrifying.

For the same price, we could have booked really nice rooms. Instead, we ended up here. There’s no elevator, and the rooms are run down and unbelievably dirty. I’ve never seen a hotel room this filthy. Dust balls were all over the floor, cobwebs covered the ceiling, and the shower drain was full of hair and dirt. The bathroom walls looked like someone had vomited on them and left them to gather dust. I was rarely this disgusted. The bed was hard and creaky. There was no maid to clean or bring toilet paper and towels. We told the staff at reception how dirty it was, but nobody came to clean all day. The staff weren’t very friendly and didn’t speak a word of English. At least there was air conditioning, a fridge, and Wi-Fi, which earn the one star.

For roughly 12 pounds, the hotel is decent. My room was clean, though the bathrooms could use a serious deep clean. The air conditioning seemed to have been cleaned recently because it smelled really fresh. Most staff speak Thai only, but they were kind, and we communicated easily with a translation app. If you can’t carry your bags up several flights, choose a lower floor.
