The staff were kind about my booking mistake: I’d reserved a room for a date 30 days later than I intended, and they helped me find a room for that night and politely refunded the mistaken reservation. I’m very grateful I stayed here. The hotel is near the historic center, and breakfast was amazing. The room was nice, though there were several mosquitoes. Some nearby streets looked a little sketchy after dark, but still seemed safe.

The hotel has a pool and rooftop terrace, and the beds were comfortable. Rooms and facilities were clean, and the staff were warm and friendly. It was quiet, though there weren’t any great views. Getting to and from the hotel means passing streets that are extremely dirty and smell of urine and feces. You have to make your way through, or order a Bolt straight to the hotel. Still, it was a very good stay.

The streets around it were a bit dirty, but, well, that’s Bangkok, right? ;) The hotel itself was quiet and comfortable, with a great breakfast and loads of choices. It’s also within walking distance of the sights and the busy Khaosan road. For the money, a good deal, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The location made it easy to visit downtown Bangkok and the main historical attractions. Everything else was excellent too, from the room and facilities to the pool. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. The women serving breakfast even went out of their way to make extra vegetarian food just for us.

The staff were sweet, and breakfast was decent. The Grand Palace is nearby, which was nice, but the area around the hotel felt dirty, smelly, and obviously poor. Although it looks very nice in pictures, the hotel was actually quite worn down, and our room was moldy. I wouldn’t book it again.
