The king executive room on the second floor was spacious, with a nice balcony, good hot water, and new air conditioning that worked well. The hotel itself is clean and beautiful, with an artsy movie theme. It’s about 1.5 km from the metro, but there’s lots of street food and hot pot nearby, plus a 7-11 around 250 meters away. I gave it four stars, not five. It’s pet friendly, which I don’t like because of the barking and the possibility of fleas, ticks, or bed bugs. There were also noisy kids screaming and crying throughout my three-day stay. Parents should keep them under control, and staff should ask families to take screaming children outside. Breakfast was below average, the staff seemed annoyed to help, and the coffee was mediocre. In the room there was a hotpot and tea bags, but no coffee, creamer, or sugar. There wasn’t a minibar with drinks or snacks either, so the 1,000 baht deposit seemed odd. I’d only recommend this place to people with pets and parents with badly behaved kids.

The big problem here is the complete lack of sound insulation. You can hear people talking, doors slamming loudly, and every motorcycle or car going by on the street. The staff weren’t friendly at all, and it felt like they hated their work and their guests. I’ll leave aside the small room, lack of amenities, and uncomfortable mattress since the place is inexpensive.

Use a booking app for this place. I paid £35 at the front desk for a walk-in room after friends couldn’t put me up because of quake displacement. When I asked about the high price that morning, they said the offer was only available after 7pm. But I checked online at 9am and found a room for £20. That’s a huge difference from the £35 I was charged at reception.

The room was disgusting, with hair everywhere, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The pool was in awful shape too, with pigeon droppings all around it, and looked nothing like the online photos. The staff treated guests poorly. After two months travelling around Thailand, this was by far my worst hotel. My favourite labradorite stone necklace went missing here. It meant a lot to me and was valuable, and I hadn’t lost anything during the rest of the trip. Since this was my last stop, I’m certain it happened at this hotel. It was the worst night of my trip. I’m deeply disappointed and will never stay here again. Avoid it and save yourself the stress.
