The room gets plenty of light and has lots of space, but there are some downsides. The Wi-Fi only lets you connect one device at a time, and I saw a few small cockroaches. It’s in a quiet residential area, though my neighbors made noise at night. There aren’t any shops nearby, so it’s a bit of a mixed bag.

Getting around was easy for me: Jodd night market and an MRT station are both about a 20-minute walk away. The room was spacious, and the price felt worthwhile. Staff were ready to help with early check-in. When the water heater in my first room didn’t work, they moved me to another one.

The bathroom entrance is too low. Anyone over 170 cm risks hitting their head, which felt dangerous. Light also comes through the gap under the door at night, and you can hear the neighbors, so sleeping was difficult. There’s a washing machine, but no detergent for sale, and the walk to the nearest MRT is quite long. It could get noisy at times, with many Chinese tourists around. The staff were friendly and smiley, though not always helpful.

I paid a 50 baht cleaning fee at check-in after booking three nights through Agoda. But during the stay, nobody cleaned the room or changed the towels, and we didn’t get any water refills. I told the front desk staff, but they still didn’t bring fresh towels or water.

I had a comfortable stay, and the staff were really friendly. Best room in town, in my view. I’d recommend it to everyone.
