Ds67 Suites

I stayed for weeks and would absolutely return. It’s clean, cozy, quiet, the service is excellent, and the rate is unbeatable if you book a month ahead. I saw the sold-out sign often, so I suspect others feel the same. If you don’t need a pool, gym, fancy extras, or parking, it’s great value. The location is premium: three minutes on foot to bus stops, BTS, ramen spots and izakayas; ten minutes to the mall food court for Thai street food. 7-11, max value, a hospital, and clinics are nearby too. My second-floor room was cozy and efficient, with a comfy bed, hot water, cool AC, and fast Wi-Fi. I barely heard street noise. The elevator and stairs are in the middle, so the rooms are about equally easy to reach. The staff were kind and accommodating. I told the front desk lady I was there for medical surgery, and she did what she could to make my stay pleasant. The cleaning crew worked quickly and thoroughly every day. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with the Thai menu changing daily. There’s also a cute adjoining cafe for smoothies, coffee, and more.

The good parts were the location, just minutes from the BTS station and Ekkamai bus terminal, the friendly daytime staff, good housekeeping, and a clean room and bathroom. But I’d booked six nights well in advance and paid the full advertised price, not a discounted rate. Checking in late at night, I was given a dark corner room on the third floor with no window, no sunlight, and no fresh air from outside. I was out exploring most of the time and only used it to sleep, but I noticed guests with much shorter stays had nicer rooms with windows. A month before my trip, I called to confirm and was promised their best room, which clearly wasn’t what I got. In Pattaya I paid much less and got a much better room for my one-night stay. I had plenty of choices at the same price but chose this place. Next time I’m in Bangkok, I’ll look elsewhere.

DS67 is easy to like: great location, awesome and super friendly staff, and a perfectly fine breakfast. Just keep in mind that rooms facing the main street get pretty much nonstop road noise. If your room isn’t by the main street, you’re good.

We arrived at 11pm and check-in still went smoothly. The host was brilliant and gave us a warm welcome. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, and a good breakfast spread. Loved the experience at DS67 suites.
