This hotel is run down, and the area is far from the city. The beds were hard as concrete, and the pillows were just as bad, not suitable for tourists. I think it needs to close for three years to be refurbished, and the cleaners need to do a much better job.

The front office lady was horrible. She wouldn't let me use the lift, even to get to the higher floors. The walkways and rooms stink. I'll never book here again, please avoid.

This was my worst experience in Bangkok. The hotel cancelled my booking and made me pay at the counter, then locked me out of my room. The room was old and needed renovation, and it hadn't been cleaned properly. There was even someone else's hair in the bed, and small cockroaches all over the place. Sunlight made the walls really hot, and there was a bird farm outside. Stay away from this place.

Getting around can be a hassle if you want to avoid busy areas, since there weren't any tuk-tuks nearby and we needed GRAB/BOLT. Still, the location worked well for that. The room was decent, though dim, and the old shower head didn't work very well. The reception staff were amazing, with someone available around the clock.

The apartment looked elegant and had new furniture, but the layout wasn't very practical. The bathroom could only be reached through one bedroom, which was awkward for me since I slept in the other room. There was no locker or space for my large suitcase there, just a bed, an oversized armchair I didn't use, and a tiny table for my phone and personal items. In the second room were a large bed, a small table, a dressing gown, and a modest wardrobe. The lobby had a fridge, microwave, sofa, TV, and small table. We were booked for four but had only a kettle, two cups, two tea bags, and two bottles of water. Towels were also lacking: each person got one small cloth that looked like microfiber. We'd phoned late at night after arriving in Bangkok and were told a room with two double beds would be available for four adults. Once there, after paying 900thb per night for air conditioning, we found a mini suite with two rooms, one double bed, and one single. We were unhappy with the arrangement, but one friend went to stay with a friend in BKK, so three of us remained. The beds were probably the hardest I've encountered in Thailand. I couldn't sleep the first night, though the next nights were okay. We didn't want to spend time hunting for another hotel, so we extended our stay. The hallway had a notice about saving the planet, offering two bottles of coke if you declined fresh linen. We told reception we didn't need cleaning or new sheets, but someone still knocked each day and couldn't understand English. One day they came in and changed the sheets anyway. It wasn't a terrible stay, but I wouldn't pick it again because of the poor functionality. If you're in Bangkok to see the traditional sights, stay closer to them. We spent two hours a day in traffic, using fast, tolled routes.
