I booked for one night because it was only $10, figuring the service might be worth that price. I’d read the bad Agoda comments beforehand. If you speak Thai and just need a few hours’ nap before a connecting flight, it might be okay. It’s about 20 minutes from the airport, so it isn’t that near. I arrived at midnight, and there was nobody at reception, though they had left a number to call. First they said they wouldn’t hold my room because I was arriving at midnight. I showed them our Line chat where I’d told them I’d be late, and then they said they had no room for my booking because Agoda had set the price without their permission. They said I’d have to pay more for a room or cancel. After more than 30 minutes talking on the phone and waiting for an hour and a half, a staff member took me to another hotel nearby. They kept repeating that I had to pay more if I wanted to stay. The bad Google reviews are accurate, not exaggerated.

She brought breakfast to our room and asked what time we wanted it. The place is near the airport, so I’d recommend it if you need to stay around there. The woman who greeted us was so nice. Our flight was late and immigration took longer than expected, but she waited until midnight for us. The place was very clean too.

There are CCTV cameras in the women’s dorm rooms, with no warning that they’re installed. The owners show no shame or apology about it. That clearly makes it feel unsafe for women. The owner is either a creep or lacks basic decency.

I waited over two hours because nobody was at reception. The contact number couldn’t be reached, and when someone finally showed up, they asked me to pay extra even though I’d already paid in full through Traveloka. Terrible experience.
