The bathroom setup was the one thing we didn’t like. A window connects it to the bedroom, and the two curtains don’t quite meet when closed, so bathroom light can wake your partner at night. The French window style doors also let sound through. Otherwise, the location was great, the room was nice and very clean despite the carpet, and the bed was comfortable.

We spent two nights in one of the spacious villas. The upstairs felt a bit gloomy to me, with dark wood paneling, small windows, and dim lighting. The place is a little dated, though the two floor layout worked well for us and I liked the plantation Thai decor. They stocked plenty of water in the fridge and left lots of laundry detergent for the washer and dryer. There was an iron and ironing board too.

The rooms are big and have all the accommodations you need, and there’s even a pool table plus bathrooms in the lobby. Breakfast had so much to choose from, including juice, coffee, tea, hot tea, and milk. The staff opened the door for my girlfriend and me and checked us in without any problems. A young man helped carry our bags to the room. I highly recommend staying at The Davis ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff were sweet, and the rooms were okay, but there was a strong synthetic smell in the corridors and the rooftop jacuzzi wasn’t working. I spent my first two nights in a Deluxe room in the Corner wing, which was fine. The expansion of this ‘family run hotel’ has turned it into an empire that owns the whole block. There’s a nightclub in the reception, right on a super busy road. I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known. The main ground floor being rented to Starbucks and a nightclub says it all.

Service was excellent, and the location deserves five stars. The breakfast was good enough, and I really liked the pool area. I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Davis Hotel. The rooms were fairly large and came with a smart TV. I’d absolutely come back.
