De Botan Srinagarindra

The staff were lovely and even let us leave our bags after checkout. Our room was roomy, with a fridge and balcony, and the AC was good. Having a restaurant on site was convenient, and the rooftop pool and fitness suite were excellent. A lovely Bangkok hotel, would recommend!!

The staff were truly amazing, and the restaurant had a great, friendly feel. There are two four-story malls nearby, along with street food anyone would enjoy. De Botan Srinakarin is a very good Bangkok stay. It doesn't feel like a big city around there, even though one is only a short cab ride away. I highly recommend it.

The pool was great and had plenty of towels. My room was clean and the AC worked well. Breakfast was basic but reasonable. There was marijuana smell in the hallway, which put me off. I told reception, but there wasn't much they could do.

The staff were very friendly and always willing to help, which was a real plus. We stayed for a week, and the room change helped: our first room, on the even-numbered side, was so noisy from the road that we couldn't sleep, but the replacement was much better. Breakfast got repetitive over the week, though it would be fine for a couple of days. We saw rooms on different floors, and there was mold in all the ones we saw, in shower corners and inside the AC. The rooms look a little old, and cleaning felt superficial. More frequent, thorough deep cleaning would help. It's okay for a short visit, but I'd look elsewhere for a longer stay.
