El Biografo

There’s a good food market right outside every morning, with tasty, inexpensive breakfast. The facilities were clean, and upstairs there’s a big flat-screen TV where you can relax with a movie. I really liked the staff and enjoyed spending time with them. David, the owner, is a great guy too. It’s a great Bangkok hostel, and I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a dorm to stay in for a while.

David, the owner, deserves a special thank you for being so welcoming, teaching me some Spanish, and creating such a lovely place. The hostel felt clean, cosy, and had a great atmosphere. One of the best I’ve stayed at, highly recommend!

The only snag was my flip-flops going missing. I’d like to think it was an honest mistake, though. The rest of my week at El Biographa was fantastic, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok. David, Mikki, and Mark were warm and friendly, and I also met some wonderful fellow travellers: Valeri, Roman, Antoine, Yaya, Liza, Lee, and Tom. They made the stay extra special. The cosy atmosphere and hospitality were great, and I slept well in a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a lovely touch, with homemade bread, peanut butter, jam, and coffee or tea. The location worked well too, close to Chong Nonsi BTS and convenient for exploring the city. Until next time, thank you!

The staff were the best part of my stay. Mark and the team were really accommodating. When I asked to check out early at short notice, he refunded the remaining nights in cash at a fair rate. It’s a cosy hostel near Chong Nonsi BTS. The beds are fine, though the bathrooms could be better. For the price, the value is hard to beat. It’s not a party place, so the other guests were relaxed and easy to talk to. I’d consider staying here again if I return to Bangkok.
