I ended up checking out early because the hygiene problems made me uncomfortable. Even after I showed evidence of the room’s condition, I wasn’t given a full refund, despite leaving because of cleanliness rather than personal preference. The room was dirty, with insects in several places, including the bathroom and on the walls, and it didn’t look like the online photos. I’d booked based on those pictures and the description. At first I tried to put up with it because I’d just arrived in the country and the front desk was closed, so I had no immediate way to sort it out or move elsewhere. I know this is a budget property, but basic cleanliness shouldn’t be compromised. I hope management and the booking platform take this seriously and improve things for future guests.

We spent five nights there and the room was never cleaned. The bed was extremely hard, the room smelled bad, and it was noisy. There was just one old AC for two large rooms. We weren’t given toilet paper for all five days, and there was no kettle. The pool was dirty too, and the service was poor. Definitely not worth the money. Avoid this place.

The room they eventually moved me into was dirty and full of broken things, with a bed that was basically a wooden plank. They also advertise a swimming pool, but that’s a lie. The service was terrible, and I felt they were trying to scam me. I’ve seen that other people had the same experience. I’m giving one star because there’s no option for zero. I’d booked a premium room, but at check-in they said I’d have to wait 20 minutes while they fixed the AC. That turned into 50. When we finally went upstairs, the room wasn’t the one I’d booked or the one in the photos. I went straight back to reception. The woman insisted it was premium, even though it was small, the sofa was broken and covered with an ugly, dirty blanket, and the bathroom didn’t have glass walls. After half an hour of arguing, she admitted it wasn’t a premium room. Since the room I’d reserved was occupied, she offered a premium suite for one night and said they’d move me into my booked room the next day. It took a long time to get even that sorted, and all the time I spent arguing could have gone toward seeing Bangkok. She said they’d move me between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM the next day. At 1:45 PM, I went downstairs, but she wasn’t there and a different man was at the desk. He claimed our current room was better, which wasn’t true. I told him I wanted the room I’d booked, and after another half hour of discussion he agreed to move me.

The bed in our Deluxe room was the size we expected, and the linens were clean. But the place is run down and noisy, and doesn’t seem much like the photos.
