Chinatown has so many food, shopping, and photography options, and the hotel is right in the center with everything close by. Jay Fai restaurant and the beautiful Riverside area are a couple of nearby spots worth mentioning. There are two restaurants in the hotel as well. One has a 360° city view, and the other is GenZ. We thought the food was amazing at both, and the views were stunning.

The location is good, the place felt safe, and it was clean. That's about where the good points end. I can't believe this is a 4 star hotel. The shower wasn't hot and had no real pressure, so good luck rinsing shampoo out of long hair. Breakfast was incredibly poor, with very low-quality choices. A little more effort could make it much better, but it felt like they weren't trying. Hardly anyone speaks English, and the toilet paper was as poor as it gets. We got only one roll per room, too. We went to the EOY party. The drink options were of incredibly low quality, and the buffet food was cold and soggy. For the same amount of money, they could at least have served warm nuggets instead of frozen ones. The lobby welcomed us with sad karaoke singers and a run-down Christmas tree.

We had a great breakfast and found the rooms clean, with a comfortable bed. The staff we met were all exceptionally friendly and professional. There was free parking, and the hotel is a short walk from the MRT, next to Sampaeng lane, and right across the road from the night market. We stayed three nights on the 22nd floor and had spectacular views. We'll certainly stay here again.
