The location is great for getting around on foot. Platinum Mall is just steps away, and Central world is a short walk. The staff, especially the cleaner, were really nice and friendly to talk to. Thai people are very generous. Breakfast was really good, too, and it's a nice budget hotel if you don't want to spend a lot. One thing I didn't like was being told I'd have to pay for extra towels and other things when I asked the receptionist at night. That left me speechless, since I usually expect extra pillows or towels at a hotel to be free.

For shopping, the location is hard to beat. It's next to Pratunam Market, Palladium Mall, and other shopping spots. December’s outlet inside Diamond Suites deserves a mention too, with stylish options and great deals for girls' shopping. The hotel itself fell below average in most ways. The rooms are spacious, but the furniture, plugs, and switches are old, and many didn't work properly. The kettle was worn out, and the place needs renovation and better upkeep. Front office service was generally slow, although B was proactive and polite and helped things move smoothly despite the delays. Breakfast was disappointing, particularly for Indian and vegetarian guests. The selection was very limited. We mostly made do with croissants and sandwiches, with no proper bread-butter-jam options, no cornflakes, and very little fruit. Staff don't refill the buffet, so it's best to arrive early if you want to find something to eat. There's a refundable security deposit of 2000 Baht per room, payable in cash or by having it blocked on a credit card. Bellboys also expect a tip each time they help with luggage. The location is fantastic for shopping, but the facilities, upkeep, and service need improvement for the stay to feel worthwhile.

At checkout early in the morning, while we were rushing to catch our flight, the staff accused us of smoking in the room. That was completely false, and they tried to take 5000 baht as a smoking fine without proper proof. They also tried to fine us for a “missing fork” that was actually on the table in the room. We had booked three rooms and paid a total deposit of 6000 baht, at 2000 baht per room. The rooms felt old and poorly maintained, which was already disappointing for the price. The whole incident felt like a deliberate attempt to take advantage of guests in a hurry to get to the airport. The receptionist Mr. Sherrypong seemed very experienced at handling situations like this and pressuring guests. It left a very bad impression. I'd strongly advise travelers to avoid this hotel, especially if they value fair treatment and peace of mind.

We had a good-sized suite on the 20th floor, with glass windows looking out over Bangkok. The suite was excellent, and we couldn't come up with a single negative comment. There was a large fridge, induction hob, and TV in the combined living and kitchen area. They provided five bottles of water free, along with complimentary fruit, chips, nuts, and more. We'd love to stay here again and again.
