The clean pool and great view from the 24th floor were highlights, and it's very close to Chatuchak Market. For the price, the hotel does what it needs to do well. I had no service issues: rooms were cleaned every day at noon, with fresh sheets, towels and water. I booked a superior twin room even though I was alone, and it was fine. Don't expect extras like disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste or slippers. Shampoo and body soap were provided. The gym is set up in what looks like the hotel's biggest suite room, but it had everything I needed. I got breakfast outside since the hotel's selection wasn't the best.

I paid £77 for four nights, which was amazing value. The rooms are spacious, and the rooftop pool gives you a full view of Bangkok. The gym was great too, with plenty of good equipment. Staff were friendly and helpful. There's a 7/11 less than a 10-minute walk away, and the hotel runs a free private shuttle to four destinations three times a day, at 10:00am, 12:00pm and 14:00.

The rooms are a bit dated, though the staff keep them very clean. You can feel an old-school 80s Thai business hotel vibe in the room design and staff manners. The gym is odd but has the basics. The pool area is neglected, even though it has great potential, and it's one of the few pools with a depth of 2 m. The lobby is OK, and the staff are professional, if not hospitable. To me, this feels more like a 2-star than a 3-star hotel. It has its own character, and could be a proper 3-star place if it were looked after better.

A quaint, clean and affordable place. I got a great workout in at the beautiful fitness center, and there's a rooftop pool too. You can walk around the area from here, or catch one of the tuk-tuks that are readily available as soon as you step outside.
