Nine Plus Loft

The staff were more accommodating than the accommodation itself. The bathroom was rotten, and although I asked for a private room, they put us on the ground floor with rooms above us. People trampled around overhead all night.

As the price has gone up over the years, the quality has gone down. The quality was poor and reception was rude. There was a problem with my Agoda booking, and they downgraded my room without refunding the difference. I’d say don’t support businesses like this in Bangkok.

I needed an affordable room within walking distance of BTS (Phra Kanong), close to the bus station (Ekkamai), and near a hospital (Sukhumvit). This place fit those needs. I hate having to come here to complain, but there were numerous problems and I don’t want to spend the energy explaining them. My photos can say it all without going into details. I already felt bad for the two young women working there, who were trying their best under the circumstances. It certainly wasn’t all their fault. If the owner disputes this or responds with rebuttals, I’ll gladly open the can of worms and start a long list of warnings. I’m being nice here.

The location is pretty good, and the woman at check-in was nice. That’s about it. The place smelled, felt old and rundown, and had mold everywhere, along with old, dirty sheets. The pictures are probably from years ago. Check my photos to see what you can expect at the end of 2024.
