Hoft Hotel

There were ants all over the room, and they still tried to charge me after I left. I hate leaving a bad review for what seems to be a family-run place, but the service and that attempt to charge me fraudulently were ridiculous.

A nice, clean place with a good bed, a decent bathroom and toilet, and a fridge in the room. It's a little far from soi 24 Ramkhamhaeng.

Good bedding, cold air conditioning, and a smart TV. I've stayed twice and was very happy both times. The rooms are very clean, and someone is always at reception if you press the bell. Great value for money, with a 7-11 two minutes around the corner and lots of small local restaurants nearby.

The rooms are new and okay to stay in, and they came with a fridge and two bottles of water. It was budget friendly during peak season. The main road is under construction, so it's dusty and smelly for now, though it may look better once the work is done. The stairs are uneven and tricky. The elevator was available only at limited times, so it was no use for us and we carried bags down from the third floor. The drainage was blocked because the room hadn't been prepared before check-in. It cleared after a while, but the unpleasant and embarrassing experience stuck with us. The peephole works both ways, which felt concerning for security. There also weren't door cards for housekeeping or do not disturb. You had to go downstairs, write a request or call, and still weren't sure they'd do it. The hotel should put make-up-room and do-not-disturb cards on the door handles, check room equipment before check-in, keep the elevator available for everyone at all hours, and replace the two-way peephole. ⭐⭐⭐
