The location is excellent and the place is very clean. We stayed two nights, but the beds made it uncomfortable, just springs with a thin layer of fabric over them. The room was small, and the AC made it very cold, which I liked.

At 1,300 THB a night, I expected basic things like bottled water, but none was provided. The bathroom also had a strong, unpleasant drain smell, which made the stay really uncomfortable. There’s no reception because this is a daily rental condo, and check-in was frustrating. The owner was hard to reach, so I had to find and pick up the keycard outside the building myself. The entrance was hidden and confusing too, making the place unnecessarily difficult to find. It felt poorly managed and wasn’t worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The sewage odor from the toilet bowl was strong and pungent, even though the location is decent, just a heartbeat away from Yaowarat. During our five-day stay, the water was cut off three times, each during the crucial hours from 8 pm until nearly 9 am. There was no notice for the first outage. A notice went up before the second, but the actual outage lasted longer than stated. After being out all day, sweaty and tired, we wanted to shower and rest, but couldn’t and had to go to bed without washing up. At this price, those hassles just aren’t worth it. One more thing: I posted this exact review on booking.com, where I booked, but the site decided it contained HATE :) Better check Google reviews when booking accommodation.

The host helped me get back in when I accidentally left my room card inside while going out to buy dinner. They contacted a staff member, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. There are lots of good places to eat within walking distance, including cute cafes and lively Song Wat Road. I booked through Airbnb and had a good stay. I’d seen negative Google Maps reviews about strange smells, but when I stayed in July 2025, I didn’t notice anything unpleasant. The room was nice, with a fridge, microwave and strong shower pressure. My only little gripe was the short shower curtain, which let water spill onto the floor every time. It wasn’t a big deal.
