The price is probably among the lowest in the city, so the basic setup can feel like a bargain if you're fine with that. The guy working there is really friendly, and the place is quiet, with street food, markets and public transport within walking distance. Wi-Fi is pretty good. My bed was firmer than I like, and the bathrooms could use better cleaning and maintenance, though there’s hot water and the toilets flush.

Our worst stay in Thailand, and in Bangkok, was also the most expensive. The family room was a disaster: it smelled strongly of mold from the shower and throughout the room, the beds were rock hard, and there weren’t even towels. The bathroom was called private, but it was outside the room and everyone in the lobby used it. The location is okay in a non-touristy neighborhood, though it’s far from the center. I really wouldn’t recommend booking the family room. Maybe the good rating comes from the dorms.

The reception staff are very nice, and it’s a quiet place at a cheap price. It’s clean by Bangkok standards, but don’t expect hotel quality. The mattress is pretty hard.

The owners were kind and welcoming, and the hostel was affordable and nice. I stayed several days, then decided to extend my stay.

Our room smelled awful, and the beds were hard as stone. It was dirty and loud, with lots of Chinese people around. I wouldn’t recommend it.
