Lhong Yaowarat Hostel

The bathroom is small, but we were only there for two nights, and the price was so cheap that it was bearable. Breakfast changed daily, and the owner would ask whether we liked the dish he planned to make the next day, then check afterwards if we enjoyed our meals. There’s a laundry machine available. You have to use the stairs to reach the rooms, and leave your outdoor shoes downstairs before going up.

My room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with eclectic period furnishings that added charm. Staff were friendly and obliging, and they stay on the premises. I could check in early, then leave my bag at reception after checkout. Since I had until 5pm to explore the city, it was great to be able to use the shower and toilet after checkout too. The hotel is on a narrow lane just off Yaowarat Road. It’s quiet, yet close to plenty of stalls and restaurants.

We stayed five nights right in the heart of Chinatown, tucked into a quiet, peaceful alley. Everything was clean, and the host was very friendly. He even got a birthday cake for me as a special request. Thank you so much! -Myles and Thao

I love this place, it’s my second stay. The owner P’Lian is cheerful and friendly, and the whole hostel is nicely decorated. The room is unique and well maintained, thanks to the talented designer older sister 🥰👍🏻 The Chinese traditional food is delicious, and every morning he asks what time you want breakfast and prepares different meals with old but gold music. housekeeper comes to clean the room after I go out. There are home slippers, shampoo, body wash, a hair dryer, toothpaste, a toothbrush, and other things. The hostel is near the MRT, massage places, 7-11, and local restaurants. 😍 Come stay here while exploring Yaowarat, Talad Noi, Song Wat, Hua Lam Phong kha!!😁
