Reno Hotel Bangkok

The pool was lovely, but it had no handrails, and I fell while getting out because of the big steps. The location was great for MBK, Siam Paragon, and the other nearby spots. Cleaning staff were friendly and did a great job, though the front desk wasn’t very friendly and offered no hotel information unless I asked. The rooms also had no drawers or wardrobe. It was a weird place to stay.

The food is a big reason I loved this hotel. Please go to the restaurant and get the pad thai with soft shell crab! It’s also great value, in a great location. A few nearby places I like: Baan Saen Saep for matcha lattes, cats, and natural light; roots for oat cold brew; Sip N Drip for ice drip coffee; Palette for a honeycomb latte; Happy Peeps in its cute little container; and Featlab for craft beer. All Nations Church Bangkok is within walking distance too. I love them, Sunday 10am!

We paid $180 usd for 3 nights, which was fantastic value. The hotel accommodated our room type, and we really appreciated that. It’s close to the station and not too far down an alley, with a convenient location. Our room was quiet, clean, and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the pillows were a tad flat.

The room and hotel interior looked very good, but the walls were really thin. For three nights in a row we heard different kinds of noise: a vibrating laundry machine, people shouting from the condo next door at 2am, and loud conversations in the hall. We could hear everything from the rooms beside and above us, as well as the hallways.
