IR-ON Hotel

The hotel is well placed, close to pretty much everything, and about an 8-minute walk from the skyline station. Our room was pretty and very clean, and breakfast was nice and fairly affordable. I’d recommend booking here. I’d read complaints about street noise, but it seemed quiet to me and we slept really well. The staff are very friendly.

The view was nice, the room spacious, and the staff did everything they could to help. It’s just a few minutes on foot from Thong Lo BTS station, which made it a great spot for my long-overdue trip home. Sukhumvit 36 connects Rama 4 Rd. and Sukhumvit Rd., so some daytime noise from outside is to be expected, but it gets fairly quiet at night. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you for such a great experience.

The room looks beautiful, but the noise made this the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m not especially sensitive to sound, yet it was extremely bothersome. Street noise comes straight through the balcony, with loud cars and motorcycles racing past. You can hear water moving through the exposed pipes, and the door and lock are so loud that every slam and lock is audible day and night. I’d never recommend this hotel or come back.

There are a few good restaurants nearby, and BTS Thong Lo station is about a 10-minute walk. It’s a cute boutique hotel, with hospitable staff and rooms in a nice industrial style. The shower and toilet are in separate rooms. Downstairs there’s a charming cafe serving pastries, sandwiches, and coffee.
