Khaosan Palace Hotel

I only stayed one night, so I didn’t get to try many of the amenities, though the staff were very helpful. The room was basic but well maintained, with just one electrical outlet. After 8pm, I understood why they’d left two little pouches of earplugs in my room. Khao San road turns into one huge nightclub, with loud music along the whole street until 4am. I got no rest at all and ended up wasting time and money. The area used to be a nice place to hang out, but not anymore. If you need a good night’s sleep, don’t choose this hotel or anywhere else along Khao San road just because the rates look cheap.

The room and bathroom were clean and well cared for, and I had a good stay. Getting ready was a little awkward because there was no mirror in the bedroom, just one in the bathroom. It’s right on the main Khaosan Road, so nightlife is only steps away. That’s great if you like to party, but the noise at night may not suit you if you want peace and quiet. The hotel does provide earplugs. I’d recommend it, especially for anyone who enjoys the party atmosphere.

The rooftop pool is really nice, and the rooms are super clean with useful things like a fridge, kettle, and hair dryer. The prices are very reasonable, and the pool and room amenities are why I keep coming back. It’s my go-to in the area. I’ve taken off a star because of the noise from the shenanigans happening right outside on Khaosan Rd. They do provide earplugs, though.

Right in the party heart of Khao San Road, this is a convenient budget spot for a few days. We loved the location. The rooms were spacious and clean, with everything we needed ☺️
