Khaosan Rainbow Hostel

The staff were helpful, and there’s an Indian restaurant on the ground floor. But the room was too hot even with a fan, because the aircon wasn’t working properly. We also found duvets that hadn’t been washed and had no sheets on them. Other travellers told us they’d had the same problem with the aircon.

We booked at the listed price on Booking.com, then walked from the station because getting a Grab or Bolt from there is really difficult. At the hotel, the staff were serious with us and wouldn’t let us check in. We waited an hour while they sorted out a booking problem, then they changed the price from what Booking.com had shown, so we had to find another hotel. We asked for compensation and got 100 baht for the trip. 🤣🤡

The staff were kind, and the rooms were good. We asked for an early breakfast and they specially prepared it for us. A good spot if you want to be close to Khao San without the noise.

We were three friends there for three nights and had a really good time. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and nice, the staff were super helpful, and the food downstairs was really nice. It’s very close to Khaosan Road, but the noise didn’t bother us. We could also leave our backpacks after checkout. I really recommend it if you want to stay near Khaosan. Greetings from Sweden!
