King One Suvarnabhumi

The room was clean, and the building looked nice and well cared for. Staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a billiards and workout room on the second floor, which was a nice extra, and the place is handy for a quick stay near Suvarnabhumi airport. Sleeping was rough, though. The bed was painfully stiff and the flat pillows seemed worn out. The old shower heater gave no hot water, so I could only take a cold shower. That might be fine in Bangkok in the middle of a hot day, but not first thing in the morning. The air con was so loud it sounded like sitting right beside a busy street, and there were big spider webs above the bed. One night was okay for some people, but I’d look elsewhere next time. A few simple upgrades could make a big difference.

At 800 baht a night, this place was absolutely not worth it. The bed was disgusting, with hair and crumbs on the mattress and stains from some white liquid on the pillows. There was no soap, shower gel, or shampoo. The room was extremely dirty, including the floor, and the damaged walls were dirty and covered in spider webs. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

There were ants in my room and bugs on the bed. Then they tried to charge me extra on top of my deposit for “dust on the bed,” which could just be hoovered. When I said I’d go to an ATM to get the extra 200 BAHT, the woman told me not to leave. They tried to trap me in. It’s cheap for a reason, trust me, don’t stay here.

Dear OYO 117 King Apartment Team, I was disappointed by my stay. Spiders were all over the room, even in the bathroom and toilet, and the place wasn’t clean. The service was unresponsive, basic things like slippers were missing, and there were unpleasant smells. I hope you address these issues. Further..
