Tara Bangkok Riverside Hotel

Tucky deserves a special thank you for going out of his way to help us with whatever we needed. His kindness really stood out, as did the rest of the staff’s friendly, attentive service. Breakfast had a good range of choices and a pleasant start-of-day atmosphere. There are several room types with different river views, so I’d recommend choosing one with a nice view if you can. It made a real difference to my stay at Glow Riverside, and I’d happily come back to Bangkok and stay here again.

Watching the sunset by the river was the best part, and the room had plenty of space. The pier nearby made it easy to enjoy boat rides, while getting around otherwise only took a short motorcycle ride. The staff were lovely, especially the bartender and the waitress at the bar. They made the stay much more enjoyable. I’ll come back, and I’ll tip the waitress again. For the price, this was the best four-star hotel I’ve stayed in.

There were bats overhead, fish in the river, and little birds around the hotel. The pool was great, and breakfast had something different each day, with a choice as good as a five-star hotel’s. The staff were excellent and spoke English well. We’d head out around noon and get back after sunset. Being right on the river made the location ideal. I could sit in the shade and cool air at breakfast for hours, just enjoying the view. The rooms seemed new and were very clean, and I slept like a baby every night. I think the hotel opened in 2025z. A really relaxing place.

We loved this place, so I don’t get the bad reviews. It’s a nice quiet area, and the staff were helpful and spoke English very well. There are little family food stalls dotted around Glow, and 7 eleven is just five minutes away. Room 2505 was clean and had a comfortable bed, a strong shower, and a bidet. Breakfast was tasty, with traditional Thai food or eggs cooked just how you like them. A 15 baht bus ride gets you to good Thai massage and shopping. I’d recommend staying here for some peace and quiet. Photos show local food and our room view.
