The bathroom fan didn't work, and the place was dirty and mildewy. Everything looks far past the point of repair, so the list of charges for broken or missing items is scary. I'd be more concerned about what you might catch from the room than about the $2 room service you bring into it.

The place was full of cockroaches 🪳. Staff handed over an empty bottle of cockroach spray and followed to take it back, so the guest went to Seven-Eleven at 00:48 to buy spray.

At 700 baht a night, this is one of very few options near iconsiam when you compare prices with nearby hotels. We stayed two nights for New Year's celebrations, and the staff opened the rooftop so guests could watch fireworks across Bangkok. It was a really nice display. The rooms are spacious, but very old and worn, with stains on the carpets and fixtures showing their age. It looked like new wardrobes and furniture had been added not too long ago. The bathroom needs refurbishing too. The shower comes only to my chest, so I had to bend to use it. The rooms look like they've got many years of stories behind them.

Very close to ICONSIAM shopping centre. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels, shampoo and conditioner, sugar, water, and coffee, though they didn't clean the floor. The air conditioner worked well. For this amount of money, it was a great experience. There was a cockroach living in the drawer, though.
