Klyde Boutique Chatuchak

I picked this hotel for the price and how close it is to the train station. I’d been skeptical because the few reviews at the time were all five stars, which usually makes me think scam, but it turned out to be the real deal. The room was clean and service was great. Chatuchak Weekend Market is a short walk away, and there are a couple of laundromats nearby. Natt checked me in and out, was very friendly, and spoke great English. She even offered me coffee before I left. I’d stay here again on another Bangkok trip.

A cozy, clean place, and I’d definitely recommend it. The kitchen is shared, but that wasn’t inconvenient. The administrator was very sweet and did everything to make us comfortable. We were allowed to check in early and leave our luggage after checkout.

This is a beautiful, modern boutique hotel, put together with a lot of care by the owner. She’s helpful, speaks and understands English, and made the place feel like home from reception through checkout. Let her know your arrival time in advance, since she isn’t there 24 hours a day. The whole property is spotless and the rooms are well maintained. A 7-Eleven is 300m away, and Chatuchak Weekend Market is 1km away. There’s no lift, so you’ll need to carry your luggage. Shoes go on the rack on the first floor, and keep your key card with you since it opens the glass door to the rooms. Can’t wait to come back.

The owner was so helpful with our bags and getting us to the airport. We only stayed one night, but it was lovely: clean throughout, beautifully designed, comfy beds, and even a nice fragrance in the place. Definitely recommend it!
