Korbua House

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff very helpful, and it was peaceful being beside the canal. We also liked spending evenings in the Samson road area over the river, with its cute bars and restaurants. There was a slight smell in the bathroom, but that was the only downside. Lovely hotel in a good location.

The breakfast restaurant is lovely, with views over the canal. Staff were so friendly, engaging, and helpful, which made a real difference to the stay. The location is good too. The rooms are a little dated, and there aren’t any tea or coffee making facilities.

I’d stay here again if I return to Bangkok. The quality for the price was very good, and the staff were professional, kind, and did their best to help. Their English was good as well. I’d worried the river might smell, but there was no smell at all. The room was quite large, with a small but powerful fridge, good AC, and a little balcony. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a strongbox, a table, and everything else I needed. The toilet and shower were spacious and comfortable. There’s also a nice terrace where you can have breakfast or a drink.

The canal-side setting was lovely, with a beautiful view, and the food was great. We were greeted warmly on arrival and had a really nice stay. The staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. I’d definitely come back.
