If you enjoy Italian food, this is the place to stay. It's a great guest house, very clean, and Carlo manages it with everything running like clockwork. He refurbished the place and made much of the furniture himself, so every corner has its own character.

Carlo, the owner, is brilliant and very welcoming. If you're lucky, he might even make you what is probably the best espresso in Bangkok. The hostel is just off Khao San road, in a great spot and at a price that suits backpackers.

Carlo, the hostel owner, is really welcoming. It's an affordable place with good facilities, close to the famous Khaaosan road and other tourist spots and shopping destinations in Bangkok.

The price was okay, about average for Bangkok, and the house itself is charming. I didn't try the restaurant because I didn't come to Thailand to eat Italian food. The stairs felt a bit scary to climb, and I found the Italian owner a little rude. Otherwise, it could have been almost perfect.

It was a great find for our first night in Bangkok. The staff were super helpful and everyone was easygoing. The place wasn't easy to find at first, but a little help from local people got us there. It's near Khaosan road and within walking distance of some of Bangkok's most awesome places.
