The location is the main selling point: it’s close to the city center and easy to get around on foot. But if you need a taxi, the traffic jam is horrible. For the price, the room felt a bit small. I also couldn’t figure out how to turn on the hot water for two days, and there were no instructions. There aren’t any power outlets near the head of the bed.
There’s a 7/Eleven downstairs and two more nearby, and the BTS is very close. The room was nice and clean, and staff were supportive. Highly recommend this as a great place to stay in Bangkok, right in the center of the city.
The rooms looked new, and the location is very prime, but there’s no parking. We found a cockroach in the room. The toilet door knob was badly rusted, and water damage had made all the wooden cabinets under the kitchen sink pop out. The sheets were stained, yet they charged for any stained sheets, even removable stains. I’m curious how they decide which stains are new. The lobby smelled badly of body odor, though thankfully the room smelled fine. We could also hear the people upstairs, who happened to be very noisy until late.
It’s extremely noisy, like trying to sleep on the street. I wouldn’t recommend it.
The room was spacious, and the reception staff were friendly. Water pressure was inconsistent, though. There’s plenty of cheap street food in the neighborhood.
