We were happy with our stay. It’s a small hotel, possibly family-run, and the staff gave it a personal feel. Even with a language barrier, they were attentive and did their best to meet our family’s needs. Fresh towels, extra water, and trash bags arrived every day without us asking. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though room sizes differ. The amenities are basic, but having restaurants nearby was handy. There are tables and a microwave in the lobby, too. The hotel is on a busy street, so traffic noise carries through the day and night. Our room was toward the back, which helped. We only occasionally heard motorbikes, and that didn’t disrupt our stay.

The Japanese-style themed room was mine for two weeks, and the Agoda price was pretty good. The staff and owners were friendly and helpful. There was coffee and green tea, plus what seemed to be free laundry, at least in my case, though it may vary. It got a little lonely sometimes since there weren’t many travelers around. Most people choose hostels for the social scene. But for a quiet stretch of work and meals, this place worked well. There were good choices nearby, including sushi, local restaurants, western food like brunello, and London brew pub.

Pad. There was no refrigerator, the TV screen didn’t work, and there was a water leak in the bathroom. There also wasn’t halal breakfast food. I don’t recommend staying at this hotel, and it isn’t even listed on Agoda. I understand I’m in a country where food isn’t halal, but Agoda or Booking should mention this in the listing so visitors can avoid surprises. Tourists deserve that consideration. I’ve stayed at hotels in several parts of Thailand, including ones that weren’t five-star, and their service was nice and wonderful. They said the bathroom leak was from the air conditioner drain, but how was I supposed to know that when it seemed like something else? There was just one trash can, and some dust in the room. There was no fridge for storing food, even though there are other rooms in the property. If this is the service you offer, make it clear on the booking apps instead of springing it on guests.

The room was spacious and clean, and I paid only 750 baht. It’s newly renovated, too. Everyone did a good job, and the staff and owner were super nice. I’ll come again.
