Mad Monkey Hostel Bangkok @ Rambuttri Village Khaosan Area

I liked it enough to come back before my trip was over. The rooms are away from the bar, so I could get some rest when I wasn’t out partying. The location is great, near Bangla RD, lots of restaurants and cafes, and a 7/11 right across the street. They run pub crawls almost every day, which was a fun way to meet other travelers. I also really enjoyed the walking tour with Monsi, she’s great. Darling and Baby made the parties a lot of fun too. Can’t wait to come back to BKK and stay here again. Loved Mad Monkey 💜💜💜

It was easy to meet people here, and the hostel’s activities made socializing and enjoying the stay simple. The place itself is nice. But the reception experience was disappointing: the staff didn’t come across as welcoming or kind, and the customer service was poor. I didn’t get the sense they cared much about guests feeling comfortable, and that really affected my stay.

The pub crawl was one of my Bangkok trip highlights, and the food was surprisingly good. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole hostel had a lively, social feel. Check-in went very smoothly. Lin, Leo, and Ice were energetic and welcoming, and made people feel included right away. Ice was my favorite, such a sweet, cute host with great energy who made the nights more fun. If you’re after a social, lively place with great people in Bangkok, Mad Monkey is a great choice.

Gigi was such a good chum during my stay, and went out of her way to make people feel comfortable and included. She was incredibly accommodating and made the experience more memorable. Mind Monkey Hostel had a warm, social atmosphere from the start. The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and it felt like a home away from home. One of the best hostels in Bangkok for good people and a welcoming vibe. Best hostel ever.
