I liked the firm mattress, and there's space on the floor for bags, a tiny sofa, a bedside lamp, and tasteful white and grey decor. The double room in private 2 was clean, with a very strong aircon. Since it's right by the shared bathroom, it almost feels private, and the door locks fine. There's no TV. You can hear the loading areas around the clock because Terminal 21 shopping mall is right next door. At Christmas, I could hear the music, which added some festive joy. The shopping centre is 120 m away, with cheap food at pier 21. Trains and buses are accessible, and there are taxis and massage places outside. If the internet doesn't work, just reset the router and it should be fine.

It's just behind the famous Terminal 21 Mall, with good connections to the trains. We stayed four nights and really enjoyed it. They have basic private rooms with AC as well as dorms. The rooms were very clean and the staff friendly.

The location earns an extra star, but I'd look somewhere else since there are much better deals around. Now called Koco hostel, it's in terrible shape: dark, with broken toilets and doors that don't lock properly. It seems they needed to change the name because of the bad reputation they'd built over time.

At 180 baht for a dorm bed, you can't expect much. The bed was far too soft for me, and people were coming in and out at night.

It's kind of dark because there aren't enough lights, and the bed isn't as comfortable as at other places. I spent most of the time sitting on the floor since the upper bed is so low you can only lie down, not sit up.
