Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park Hotel

The service from the staff was the best part for me. Everyone was warm, attentive, and welcoming. Breakfast also had a wide selection of very good food for different tastes, and the lounge stood out for its friendly service and impressive food and drink options. We stayed in a suite for a few nights after an upgrade. It was spacious, comfortable, and well kept, though even the standard room looked nicely designed, clean, and comfortable. The sauna, steam room, and hot tub are quite basic, but clean and working. I had a fantastic stay at the JW Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park Bangkok and would gladly return.

The lobby is stunning, easily one of the most elegant hotel lobbies I’ve seen. The location was convenient too: Lawson and 7-Eleven are a minute or two away across the street, street food vendors are close by, and EmSphere Mall is about a seven-minute walk. We booked two rooms for my family from December 13-17. They were comfortable and well maintained, and Peach made check-in quick and easy. We had a great meal at Goji Kitchen + Bar, which is worth trying at least once. The rooftop bar was another highlight, with a relaxed feel, strong drinks that weren’t watered down, reasonable prices, and an amazing view. Checkout at Goji Kitchen + Bar took about 30 minutes, perhaps because so many guests were dining. That was the only small downside and didn’t take much away from the stay. The staff throughout were attentive and friendly. I’d definitely book the Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park again.

I’d planned four nights here and then five at the Hyatt Erawan, but Ampere’s hospitality convinced me to stay all nine nights. Each morning she greeted me by name with a lovely smile. She helped arrange transportation and made sure I was all set before heading out. That kind of care made the stay feel easy and welcoming, and she clearly takes pride in making guests feel noticed. She’s a real example of Thailand’s “Land of Smiles” reputation. The rest of the team were great too, from reception to the restaurants and bar. The bar staff were amazing, the Thai food was delicious, and the buffet had loads of variety. The rooftop view was breathtaking and became one of my favorite parts. Ampere made such a difference to my plans. Marriott, you’ve got a superstar on your team.

The room was roomy and on a high floor, which made the stay even nicer. Goji Restaurant had a huge selection for both breakfast and lunch, so there was plenty to choose from. EmSphere is right next door, with a skywalk linking to other major malls and the BTS train station. There’s also a halal eatery directly across from the hotel. One thing to know is that not every room has a bathtub, so request one ahead of time if you need it. I found Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Queen’s Park (Marquis) comfortable and convenient, and would recommend it.
