Miracle Suvarnabhumi Airport

The room had the needed basics, including toiletries, an electric kettle, and tea and coffee. Check-in was very fast, the staff were prompt and good, and I got the room I’d requested. There’s a simple but nice swimming pool on the top floor, with views of Suvarnabhumi airport. The bathroom is large and has airport views too, but the rooms themselves don’t have windows and feel dark. The location is right beside Suvarnabhumi Airport, though the industrial area isn’t great. My ratings: staff 5/5, location 3.5/5, amenities 4/5, breakfast 3.5/5, ambience 4/5, service 4/5, budget 3.5/5.

I booked only about 30 minutes before reaching the hotel, and check-in took around three minutes. The room was spacious and very clean, with a huge bathroom overlooking the airport runway. The hotel is about 15 minutes from Suvarnabhumi airport by taxi, and there’s a 7/11 about a five-minute walk away. A nice, clean, comfortable place to relax before travelling onward.

The location was shocking, and though the hotel looks normal outside, the basic rooms badly need maintenance. It’s the first hotel I’ve stayed in without a television, apparently the owner doesn’t approve. Overpriced, and definitely not worth the money. Check your room before the maid disappears. I slept, then went to shower. As soon as I lifted the tap, the handle came away in my hand. Looking closer, it had been glued together after an earlier break. Then they asked me to pay 1500 baht for the damage. I felt set up and flat-out refused.

The staff were extremely kind. I left my medication in the refrigerator, and they let me know right away and sent it by express mail to my next hotel in Phuket. Thank you so much. The hotel itself was very clean and nice, with a large room and bathroom, and it’s close to the airport.
