I keep coming back to this place over the years because it’s been a lovely stay every time. It’s a calm, clean, comfortable boutique hostel, good if you want to avoid the party crowd. I’ve usually booked a bed in the 4-bed mixed dorm, though they also have 6-bed and 8-bed rooms, plus a few rooms for one. Staff are there 24 hours, so late arrivals after a flight are fine. There’s a cafe with good coffee attached and a restaurant where I’ve only tried breakfast. BTS is about a five-minute walk away, with plenty of cafes and restaurants around. I’ve met a few nice people here, though the overall feel is on the quiet side.

The staff made a real difference, helping us sort out most of our plans around Bangkok, and they were incredibly friendly. We had a clean, comfortable room with our own bathroom, though there are other room options. Oneday hostel is just a few minutes on foot from the Sky Train. It was spectacular, and I’d recommend it to anyone after a fairly priced place in downtown Bangkok.

This is a great place if you’re trying to focus on a project and really immerse yourself in it. My private room was clean and comfortable, with a little character, though nothing fancy. The cafe, bar, and coworking space are all good quality, and the whole place has a nice vibe. Drinks and food there felt a bit expensive for Bangkok. And if you’re looking for a party hostel, this isn’t one.

The shared bathrooms were okay, though I’d pay a little more for ones in better shape. The room has lockers, but bring a padlock or buy one there. I also don’t understand why the door lock has to beep so loudly when it opens. That can disturb people trying to sleep in a shared room. For the price, the stay was fine, and it works as a cheap place to sleep for a night. Personally, I’d spend a couple more dollars for a better hostel.

This is my favorite backpacker hostel ever. I felt really safe and loved staying here. The area is interesting, and the place itself is super nice. One thing to know: the road isn’t easy to manage with a carrier, so taking a taxi was definitely a good idea.
