A Sleep Bangkok Sathorn

The staff were all pleasant, and the area was quiet. My room was a decent size, clean, and had good air conditioning, clean beds, and a hot shower. The bed was a bit stiff but tolerable. The elevator needs a room key to use, and there’s a 500 THB deposit for the key card, returned at checkout. It’s around a ten-minute walk to the BTS. The hotel is a little tucked away down a few side streets, which get slightly dark at night.

The rooms weren’t very clean, and I found ants and a cockroach inside. Construction noise went on throughout the year, whenever you stayed. People knocked on doors early, around 5-6am, talked loudly in the corridor, and let doors bang shut.

The room was clean, the beds were large, and the neighborhood was quiet. Getting there can be confusing for first-time visitors or Grab drivers, since it’s deep in a small-road area with lots of turns. It’s also a bit far from the BTS. They take cash only, with no card or transfer option, which limits payment flexibility. The electric keycard doors were very hard to open and sometimes took a while to work.

There were so many insects that the place just wasn’t worth the money. Worst place I’ve ever stayed in.
