PAAK Hotel Suvarnabhumi

We picked this place for its closeness to the airport before our flight home, though it is a bit out of the way. Our family room had a king bed and a bunk bed, which worked perfectly since the bunk was large enough for our very tall teenager. The room was super clean, the pool excellent, and breakfast simple but sufficient. Staff were super nice and helpful. There's a free shuttle to the main road that saves about 400 metres. They arranged airport transport for 250bht in an SUV, and it arrived exactly on time and was very efficient. I'd recommend staying here if you want to be near the airport. There was lots of construction around the hotel during the day, so it wasn't very peaceful in daylight.

Everyone on staff was friendly and greeted us with a smile, and the new rooms look great. My toddler loved the amazing pool, which stayed open until 9. The breakfast spread was good, and they sell Thailand souvenirs without pricing them extremely high. Their airport transfer was reliable and amazing, at a price similar to Grab. They also packed us breakfast for our early flight. We had a great experience at Paak hotel. The only downside was the ongoing construction next door, which was giving off a smell.

This works really well for a late airport arrival or the last night before a departure. I wouldn't stay here if I weren't arriving at or leaving from the airport. The area itself has little to see, but the hotel is walled off from it, making a peaceful, beautiful oasis with a garden and pool. The facilities are beautifully designed, and the room was very clean and spacious. All the staff were kind and helpful. They can arrange an SUV or van to the airport, and Ohh at front desk spoke excellent English and was very helpful.

For a one-night break between flights, I found this a very good choice. It’s around 20-25 minutes from Suvarnabhumi airport by taxi, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast is a simple buffet, but it was good. The nearest 7-Eleven is about 250 meters away; the soi dogs made that short walk uncomfortable.
