My mother and I were happily traveling in Thailand, with a two-night booking from 3/27 to 3/29. On the first night, we came back to find the whole table and floor wet as soon as I opened the door. Our things on the table were wet too. We reported it right away to the night counter staff, who said we had to move to a smaller room by the stairs because it was the last room available that night. The next morning, we asked to cancel the stay on 3/28 because the room equipment problem had inconvenienced us and there was no other room of the same size to move to. The counter staff couldn't speak English, so after waiting almost 15 minutes, they got a male supervisor. He said we could cancel, but had to apply through the website since that's where we booked. I understood and believed the hotel would let us cancel. I applied through trip.com. After many days of processing, I was told the hotel firmly refused the cancellation and would give no refund. We were very disappointed and angry. They didn't keep their word at all, so I'm leaving a message here.

The room was neat and clean, and the price felt fair. The shower had slightly low water flow, but it was still usable.

I lived there as a monthly tenant. Before moving in, I photographed the entire room because it was covered in marks, so I had evidence of its condition. When I was leaving, building management inspected it and said there were no problems and that they would send the evidence to the landlord. But when I was due to get my deposit back, they deducted 1,000 baht for painting despite the photos, 500 baht for air conditioner cleaning, 500 baht for general cleaning, and 100 baht for key card depreciation. The landlord never contacted me to explain these charges before returning the deposit. There were also many minor issues during my stay. I wouldn't recommend living there. It was very unfair to tenants, and if they deducted 1,000 baht from me even with evidence, imagine what they'd do to someone without it. What could I do?

The room is nice, and the air conditioner is new. But parking is awkward: there are spaces for only 10 cars, and the owner's son parks and charges his electric car, 2 cars, along with other tenants who live there regularly. If you arrive, you can't charge your own electric car. The parking is in a dead-end alley, too. Water pressure is low and the internet doesn't work.
