Ploen Pirom

We loved the peaceful setting at Ploen Pirom, with the lake and lush greenery making it feel close to nature even though the airport is nearby. The staff were cheerful and so friendly. We’d definitely recommend it for a stay in Bankok when you need to be close to Suvarnabhumi airport.

This was a lovely, peaceful resort for spending the last night or two near the airport before the end of a vacation. The whole property feels surrounded by nature. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the rooms had everything I needed, and they brought plenty of water each day, more than I’ve seen anywhere else in Thailand. They can take you to the airport by taxi for 200 baht. Just keep in mind that Lat Krabang, the nearest ARL train station, isn’t walkable from here, so you’ll need a taxi to reach it if you plan to go into the city often. Traffic near the highway can be rough at rush hour. I chose this place because I wanted to be close to the airport.

I stayed in one of the villas on my last day in Thailand, and it was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and so peaceful. The room was spotless and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was delicious, and I loved watching the catfish in the pond. I really hope I can come back.

I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend extra for a hotel just for the night before my flight, but I’m so glad I did. It’s wonderfully close to the airport and still very quiet. The lake with fish and the restaurant were lovely, the food was delicious, and I slept incredibly well in that amazing bed. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for, like a little oasis near the city. My room didn’t have a toothbrush, but reception gave me one without any trouble. I ended up properly relaxing and enjoying myself instead of just spending the night before the flight. The owners and staff do a great job. I rarely leave reviews, but wanted to share how much I enjoyed it, and I’d recommend this hotel to travelers.
