POP Heritage Residence

The location made it easy to pick up snacks and essentials, with a 7/11 nearby. My room at POP Heritage Residence was spotless and well cared for, with clear attention to detail. I had a wonderful stay, and it's a comfortable, convenient place.

I stayed for two months, and the noise was constant, from motorcycles, cars, vans, and honking in the courtyard. It started very early and went on until late at night. Privacy was another concern: guests and conversations seemed to be monitored by video and audio around the clock. The room had small pests and mosquitoes, with even more in the hallway. A fly swatter, anti-bite spray, and ointments felt essential. The mattresses had disgusting stains in different colors, and the shower curtain was filthy. There was no internet for hours or even days at a time, almost every day or every other day, because of network disruptions and errors. The TV had the same problem. The room was also too dark at its only mirror, which was in the bathroom, and two people had just one small, uncomfortable chair. They don't clean rooms on Sundays. The receptionist, who also acted as caretaker, had discriminatory, inhumane, outdated views and unacceptable behavior. The place felt like a barrack or prison.

I stayed nine nights at POP residence and was really happy there. The place was clean, the room was spacious, and it had lots of amenities that came in handy for a stay longer than a couple of days. The staff and security guard were lovely, kind, and always willing to help. The location was great for me: quiet, and I had no trouble ordering Grab or Bolt despite what other reviews say. Next time I'm in BKK, I'll definitely stay here again. Kop khun ka

It's good value in a quiet spot, about a 20-minute walk from Siam station. Inside, everything is clean, new, and in good condition. The owner was helpful and replied instantly by phone and online, including when I had trouble with the washing machine. Reception was empty about 90% of the time, though. There are some hassles. The internet kept disconnecting, so I had to authorize it again each time. The room was cleaned only once before check-in, and you have to call staff and pay an extra fee for cleaning. The downstairs washing machine wouldn't take payment, and there were no change coins, so laundry could be difficult. The dryer doesn't have much space, and the mattresses were a bit hard. Sometimes my arms got stiff. I'm picky, but I came away with a very favorable impression. Thanks to the owners for a great place. I'd love to stay here again.
