Prince Palace Hotel Bangkok

Getting around Bangkok meant using the Grab app, which turned out to be essential for our trips. The area outside the hotel is full of textile and apparel wholesalers, which was the most disappointing part. Even so, we felt it was very good value. Our executive room had plenty of space and was kept clean by the housekeeping staff, though the washroom faucet kept twisting whenever we adjusted the water temperature. For such a large room, having just one outlet was a surprise. Staff were polite and helpful from the ground floor through check-in on the 11th floor and the breakfast buffet on the 12th. The bar, pool and lounge on the 11th floor have a nicely sophisticated feel. Breakfast had basic Asian and western options, enough to get the day started.

The neighborhood around Prince Palace Hotel Bangkok felt local and authentic, with 7-Eleven stores, small and night markets, local food spots and everyday Bangkok life nearby. It’s a little away from the main tourist areas, but that gave the place a particular charm. Canal boats nearby were an interesting, convenient way to get around, and Grab Taxi and Grab Motorbike were quick to connect with. Other attractions were easy enough to reach. I stayed May 14th to May 21st in a One-Bedroom Suite of around 50 square meters. The living room was huge, the bedroom lovely, and the bed one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a hotel. TVs in both rooms, a large refrigerator, kettle and spacious bathroom all added to the comfort. The room service was reliable and consistently friendly, respectful and professional. The pool on the upper floors, around the 12th or 13th, was clean and relaxing, with great water quality and staff on hand for towels and supervision. I was impressed with the clean, well-maintained, well-equipped gym too, including its opening hours. Housekeeping did an exceptional job every day, leaving the room spotless and checking if I needed anything refilled or replaced. They also brought complimentary bottled water daily. Service was outstanding from arrival. Reception staff were helpful, professional, polite and efficient, and answered questions or handled requests with real kindness. When I had a small air conditioning problem, they fixed it very quickly. All in all, the spacious room, facilities, staff and local atmosphere made this a memorable stay and one of my best hotel experiences in Bangkok. I’d absolutely return and highly recommend it.

We found the hotel spacious and comfortable, and its location was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the service was excellent. Mia at reception deserves a special thank you for being so welcoming and lovely. She explained everything clearly and made check-in easy. We’d gladly stay here again.

There was plenty of fresh, flavorful dim sum to choose from for the two of us, and the buffet was very reasonably priced. Service was slow, probably because we arrived during the lunch rush. Still, it’s a good value spot for dim sum.
