I liked that the maids only came in when I left a note asking for cleaning. The room was clean and quiet, with AC, WiFi that worked, a desk, and a balcony. There weren’t chairs or a table out there, though. It’s good value if you want some space and a peaceful place to stay. A 7 Eleven and lots of food are an 8-10 minute walk away, while the MRT takes about 15-20 minutes on foot. In the heat, that felt a bit far for me, so I usually took a taxi. This feels like a hidden gem in Bangkok. I’ll be back.

It’s a quieter place because it sits farther from the city centre, which I really appreciated. It feels more like an apartment than a regular hotel. The nearest station is around 800m away, and reception can help call a tuk-tuk if you don’t want to walk. My room was clean, and everything felt comfortable and perfectly fine. The only little bother was the outdoor AC unit, which was a bit noisy, probably because it’s old. Still, it didn’t affect my stay much.

The staff were really friendly, but I had a terrible stay otherwise. The rooms were old and poorly maintained, and the place looked nothing like the booking photos. It’s about an hour from the city, and getting out of the district is difficult unless you have a car or scooter. There was a strong smell from the nearby river, and they wouldn’t refund anything if you didn’t like it.

The room itself was just okay. What made the stay awful was how the staff handled a small blood stain, about 5 cm, on the bedsheet while my wife was on her period. They charged us 500 Baht, which seemed excessive. When we tried to explain, a staff member rudely told my wife to wash the sheet right then, didn’t provide detergent, and made her do it in front of other guests. We had a flight in less than two hours, and there was no empathy or discretion. It was humiliating. This is a natural situation that should have been handled professionally and sensitively. I hope nobody else has to go through that.
