Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Bangkok Menam Riverside

The river view from our room was beautiful, and the boat service to the pier at ICONSIAM Mall was free every hour, with extra trips every 30 minutes during some hours. The full ride took about 15-20 minutes. Asiatique The Riverfront is only a short walk away. Everyone who welcomed us and looked after us was so accommodating. 10/10 for the trip!

The location was convenient and accessible, yet the hotel felt peaceful even in a busy city. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and thoughtful touches that made it easy to unwind after a long day. It offered a good mix of modern amenities and comfort for either business or leisure. Service stood out from check-in through checkout: the staff were consistently polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. Breakfast had a wide range of fresh, well-prepared Thai and international dishes. The pool and fitness center were also well kept. Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Bangkok delivered the comfort, service, and value I wanted. I’d recommend it and would choose to stay again on my next visit to Bangkok.

The room and breakfast made this stay stand out. Our suite was huge, with a separate bedroom, living room, and small study, and it was spotless. There was a tub as well as a separate shower. We also had very comfortable beds, a city view from the 10th floor, coffee and tea, fresh fruit, and four free bottles of water each day. Breakfast had an enormous range of freshly prepared food. I spent more time deciding what to eat than anything else. The pool was clean, with plenty of loungers and a bar, though the nearby tall buildings cast shade, so we had to shift our sunbed to follow the sunlight. We liked the little selection of snacks and drinks at reception when we arrived. The hourly shuttle boat made getting to the central pier and train station easy. Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Bangkok Menam Riverside was a comfortable riverside retreat, and I’d gladly return.

It’s a quiet place, and the pool has a really nice atmosphere. There are a few shops nearby and a 7/11 within easy reach, which was handy. The staff were nice, and I had no service issues. I stayed in two rooms, one older and one newer. Both were comfortable, though USB charging ports would have helped. The facilities felt more like three stars than five. Getting into the city took around 35-60 minutes depending on traffic. The station was about a 20-minute walk away, with a transfer needed. If you’re after a calm place to relax, it works. For nightlife, more shops, and easier city exploring, I’d choose somewhere closer to those things, maybe the Ramada in Sukhimvit.
